Dear
Ms. (Jenna):
We
are always excited to hear from aspiring new writers in your genre.
Thank you for considering Pandora's Box Press as a publisher of
relevant, unflinching and inspiring work by women writers, for women
readers.
The
"personal/confessional" genre is a popular one, and we are often
amazed by the work we receive within it. Indeed, your dedication
to your art as a paid expression of humanity's experience cannot
be underestimated.
I can assure you that even if we at Pandora's Box were not bound
to a fiduciary duty of discretion, we would not dream of plagiarizing
your original work.
As
I can see that you are an earnest new writer I hope you will take
a small suggestion in the spirit of the genuine search for artistic
recognition: Sending a SASE* with your MS** will allow our busy
editors to return your work to you most expediently.
At
this time Pandora's Box Press feels that your obvious talents would
be better served by an outlet of a different scale - perhaps your
church has a newsletter, or your local library hosts a writer's
club? Ms. (Jenna), we wish you all the best success in your endeavours!
Regards,
Cassandra Chowdhury

New
to Jenna's Diary?
You
are probably thinking"Say, I'll never catch up, so there's
no point starting now."
Well
that's not true, Jenna can't follow a thought for more than a second
so you won't be missing a thing. (And quite frankly that attitude
is the reason you are not a neurosurgeon.)
