LIBBY INTERVIEWS

JAMES VAN PRAAGH

Dear Readers: Well I'm back from my little break at the clin..spa. I was delighted to find that I would be interviewing James Van Praagh. To be honest as a hard-hitting journalist I was skeptical but after a display of his amazing skill he made a believer out of me! I'll have new celebrity interviews for you in the coming weeks so keep your eyeballs peeled!

Libby

Do you want me to dim the lights?

James

No, that's not necessary.

Libby

Maybe light a few candles? Some incense? Spooky music?

James

No, let's get right to it. I'm seeing something. Yes. I'm seeing a woman, definitely a woman. I sense she is a relative do you know who this is?

Libby

Well like I told you a few minutes ago, my grandmother Lillian she passed over years ago in Marshall Field. She had a massive heart attack while wrestling over a Butterfly Meadow quilt at a white sale. I honestly suspect it was murder because it was 75% off and...

James

I'm seeing an L...yes it's definitely an "L" and I'm seeing crowds, does that make sense? feeling a pain in my chest, yes definitely my chest. I'm seeing a ring, does that make sense?

Libby

Yes! Yes! She wore a wedding ring!

James

I'm seeing the ring, seeing the ring, it's round and gold, do you understand?

Libby

Yes, that's it! That's her ring! It was silver but she definitely had a ring, it had their initials on the inside...

James

Ok. Yes, silver. Silver and round, I'm seeing letters...

Libby

LK to WK...

James

I'm seeing a man, yes definitely a man..wait, Waldo Winston, Wolfgang, Wheeler, Wilfred, Wendell, Wesley, Whitney, Wuzzy, Weenie, Wallace, Wayne, Ward, Wilbur, Walter, William...

Libby

William! that was my grandpa's name! This is incredible! I'm feeling the hair on the back of my neck crawl!

James

I'm feeling a pain, I'm getting the impression, yes an impression of chest pain. Did your grandfather have problems with his heart?

Libby

Well, yes when it stopped. But before that, no.

James

Did he have a problem with his lungs?

Libby

No.

James

I'm feeling pain in the head did he have trouble with his head please? Neck region? Top of his legs or arms? Feet? Maybe upper to lower back?

Libby

Yes! He had a bad back!

James

Yes, I'm feeling back pain. I'm seeing a photos of this man, do you understand?

Libby

I have a photo of him! How could you have known that? Oh, gosh I'm shaking---do they have any advice for me?

James

Your grandmother loves you...

Libby

Really?

James

She wants you to be careful, don't smoke in gas stations, don't use the blow dryer in the bathtub, don't operate heavy machinery while drunk.

Libby

Oh my God, Nonnie? Nonnie I've always wanted to ask you, Do you know where your good silver went? We tore the floorboards apart looking for it but nothing.

James

I'm sensing the intial "J."

Libby

I have the feeling my sister Blanche who is a greedy no-goodnik might have taken the silver, but so far it's just a suspicion.

James

John, Joe, Johnny, Jeffrey, Jeremiah, Joseph, Jinx, , James, Jim, JimmyJ..who is this please?

Libby

Even if she could give me a hint, because that silver is worth thousands now.

James

Jacob, Jacqueline, Julian, Jefferson, Jed, Jim, Jane, Josh, Judy, Jeremiah, Jennifer, Jaspar, Jean, Jamie, Jarvis, Jason, Joanne, Jo-Jo, Jack, Jill...

Libby

No, don't know anyone with J...

James

Or K, I'm definitely seeing the initial K; Do you know a person with the initial K, who is this please?

Libby

Let me think...

James

Kilroy, Kevin, Kieran, Kathy, Ken, Kenneth, Karen...

Libby

Wait! A Karen used to live next door to me in my old neighbourhood!

James

Karen, that's it. Karen definitely Karen. She is showing me something what is this please?

Libby

Oooooo, I don't know. Why would Karen want to talk to me? The only time we spoke was when I threatened to sue her for cutting down my sycamore. Beautiful tree kept the sun from burning out my retinas, but no, she worshiped the sun and took down that beautiful tree. She had a face that looked like a baseball mitt probably because of all of the UV...

James

I'm getting the sense that she forgives you.

Libby

Forgives me? For what? I didn't cut down her tree, why don't you tell her for me, that I hope the garden of paradise still looks nice after she get's her paws on the pruning shears. Also you can tell her...wait a minute, she's not dead.

James

Yes, that's what she wants to tell you.

Libby

But if she's not dead how can she talk to you?

James

I'm dealing with frequencies of energy, sometimes the thoughts are sent very quickly and get mixed up so translations are very difficult.

Libby

Oh, I gotcha. Like a psychic static cling, believe anyone who's every attended a function with a sock stuck to the back of her dress can identify.

I have to admit I was skeptical but--oh gosh!

You know between you and me and the wall, I always thought I had a bit of a gift too. Wait until I tell you this.

About five years ago I was just about to throw out all my '70's clothes and a very weird, almost spiritual thing came over me. I heard a voice in my head who sounded oddly like Marty Allen and it said "Libby, the minute you throw that stuff out is the minute it will be in fashion again."

Well, I ignored that voice and thousands of dollars later I'm still trying to recreate my old wardrobe!!! Can you believe it? Isn't that spooky? It just shows you! I guess that everyone has the gift inside them, they just need to listen to their inner voice, am I right?

James

Yes, if you buy my book.

Libby

Oh, I just thought that many people might naturally have the gift.

James

No. You need the book.

Libby

But surely there's...

James

No.

Libby

Oh, I see. Well thank you James, honestly this has been remarkable.

Could you possibly get my grandmother back? Maybe page her?
