LIBBY
INTERVIEWS...
ROSIE O'DONNELL
<<PREVIOUS
Rosie
I honestly don't know.
Libby
Have
you ever eaten an entire pig?
Rosie
No.
Libby
Oh,
sorry you must be Jewish then.
Rosie
No,
I just would not eat an entire pig.
Libby
Of course you wouldn't. Now, Rosie how do you deal with jealousy?
Rosie
My
jealousy....?
Libby
When
you get a really gorgeous guest on, I guess you must feel really bad.
Rosie
I interview the person not the body.
Libby
Yes, of course, of course and you do have the big desk that covers most of
you, not all unfortunately, but most..
Rosie
I
understood that this was to be about the foundation...
Libby
Oh,
sure! Sure, I'm with you. Denial is a pretty big thing--too big for me to
deal with.
Rosie
The Foundation
wants to develop long-term relationships with donors and grant recipients
based on a shared vision that recognizes nonprofit organizations as vital
agents in the communities they serve. Grants are awarded to charitable programs
without regard to race, nationality, religion or political affiliation.
Libby
Whatever, . If
you could interview anybody, living or dead who would it be?
Rosie
Well uh, Jesus
Christ, maybe Martin Luther King....
Libby
Isn't that something!!
I made a bet with my assistant that it would be Lil Debbie.
Rosie
She isn't a real
person.
Libby
I don't think
I said it had to be a real person.
Rosie
Well you did
say living or dead, so an imaginary person couldn't be living or dead.
Anyway I would also like to mention the Million Mom's March taking place on
Mother's Day it's taking place in Washington DC, what we're hoping to do is
bring about sensible gun legislation we....
Libby
Orville Redenbacker?
At
that Rosie just got up and left without a word. It's not the first time someone
walked out on this reporter--you don't make a lot of friends when you ask
the hard hitting questions but I was really surprised with Rosie. Then the
mystery was solved. I took a peek at my watch and discovered it was lunch
time. Far be it for me to stand between a big girl and her grub!!!
